Snowy Snoqualmie Pass Family Photos | Seattle Family Photographer

The week after Thanksgiving we trekked up a mountain for some snowy Snoqualmie Pass family photos . We were wanting a super winter-y backdrop so all of us were keeping our fingers and toes crossed that there would be tons of snow! We were about 10 minutes away and we still weren’t seeing snow, so I was thinking we would just have to settle for the pretty green evergreens. Which would have been amazing too! We drove for a couple more minutes and all of a sudden everything was covered in snow…it looked like a picture perfect winter wonderland! As you can see, the scenery was incredible and we were all so excited to get some family pictures done! Their two little boys were troopers in the cold weather so we were able to get everything we needed in about 20 minutes. We had so much fun, and I love how these came out.

I am currently booking Family sessions (especially snowy ones!) in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Please inquire for more information.

Weren’t these so dreamy?! This cute family made the long trip more than worth it. And of course the snow helped a bit too! If you are also wanting some snowy Snoqualmie Pass family photos, but are afraid that your kiddos won’t love the chilly environment, there’s hope! The smallest little guy in this family was bundled up underneath his stylish clothes and he barely made a peep the whole time. The older one was starting to get a bit too chilly so we just decided to pack up and go home. I was able to get all the photos we needed before any meltdowns happened. So keep that in mind if you’re wanting winter wonderland photos like this! It doesn’t have to take forever, and there’s a good chance that everyone might leave the session in a good mood 😉
